Thailand's famous 2000-year-old massage, Nuad Thai, made it to the UNESCO heritage list.

The UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage is currently meeting in the Colombian capital, Bogota.

The Nuad Thai is an intensive massage form that includes deep stretching and twisting the body with the help of thumbs, elbows, knees and feet. The massage targets the various acupuncture points in the body and improves blood circulation. It also aims to cure muscle pain.
