Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced the Mukhya Mantri Covid Upchar Yojana (Chief Minister’s Covid Treatment Programme) for free treatment to all those from economically weaker sections in the state. Under this scheme, important decisions have also been taken for free Covid treatment of families possessing Ayushman cards.

The state government on Friday fine-tuned the modalities for hassle-free implementation of the scheme to the needy.
