It is highly imperative to analyze previous year papers (past 2-3 years) in order to get an idea of what you exactly have to prepare & what you will be facing in the actual exam. No preparation is 100% if you do not know what has actually been asked in the exam over the years & how the exam pattern has evolved year to year.
Analyzing previous year papers also gives you an idea of the difficulty level of the exam & the weightage you need to give to various topics.
In this Blog, we would discuss in depth the various topics covered in the Reasoning Section of the SSC CHSL Tier - I exam & their difficulty level. The Reasoning Section in SSC CHSL Tier - I comprises of 25 questions. The above is an analysis of the 2018 & 2019 CHSL exam conducted over various shifts on different dates. The exam pattern & level has remained same in both the years, so one can expect a similar type of paper this year.
The level of the questions has been easy in all the shifts, though depending on one's preparation, an aspirant may find it easy - moderate. Like, some students struggle with non-verbal questions (like counting the triangles or embedded image questions), so they may find even the easy questions as moderate to hard.
Therefore, it is highly important to practice a lot keeping the pattern of exam in mind, and since the pattern does not vary it is easy to stay focused & increase your accuracy & speed.
With the exam being scheduled in April this year, aspirants have enough time to work on their weak areas. Make a daily schedule from now itself & stick to it without fail. Solve both, Mock Tests & Previous Year Papers.
We will cover the analysis of the remaining sections in our upcoming blogs.
Until then Keep Studying !!
All The Best !
